I've got a name on DeLaughter's replacement...

Well-placed sources are saying that state Rep. Phillip Gunn (R-Clinton) will be getting the nod from Barbour as DeLaughter's replacement.

Makes sense, somewhat, Gunn beat Jep Barbour, Haley's nephew, for State Representative. This may open up that seat for Jep again. The seat is solid Republican so Barbour wouldn't lose a legislative seat. Gunn would also have very strong Clinton support, he was reared there.

Gunn as a Judge. I might just be President.

You can read all about the Gunn v. Barbour race, it was appealed and is a published opinion.

Tell you what, the city of Clinton represents a whole lot of voters in that district. Replacing Gunn for the remainder of his term will be left to a "non-partisan" special election. Don't be surprised if Rosemary Aultman jumps into the race. She and Gunn are real tight and she'll vote just as conservatively as he does.

I don't like the fact some of the criminal crap going on in Jackson involves the Governors attorneys B.G.G.H'S. Now you have Haley picking the replace of a judge, Bobby the dealer DeLaughter who's involved in [ and let's not kid anyone here ] secret negotiations possibility worth billions associated to at least one attorney from that firm known to Barbour.

This old school stuff is just that old, boring and sick but hey who am I to knock traditional behavior. Take the politics out their just protected criminals looking down their nose at everyone else.
