Great comment on Clarion-Ledger website

Believe it or not, that's not an oxymoron. As many of you know, the comments to articles on clarionledger.com are the most banal and revolting you'll find anywhere online outside of a Neo-Nazi, KKK, or Council of Concerned Citizens (thinking of you, Sen. Chassaniol) website. They're generally just depressing and frustrating to read. Every now and then, though, there's a gem like this one. In reaction to the story about the toddler being left behind by a daycare at a McDonald's in Pearl, "geofchaucer" writes the following:

Well I certainly don't need any more information than the few details the C-L has provided. Because I comment online here (and am therefore omniscient, omnipotent, omnipresent, and obstreperous), I can be judge, jury, and executioner.

The women planned this. They have obviously never cared about children and have probably been bribing folks to keep their license. They've also probably been bribing parents in order to keep business. Bet they cackled like Macbeth's witches upon discovery of th' deed.

And it's all Obama's fault. And Michael Jackson. And Karen Irby. Had they and their liberal shenannigans not swayed these women, nothing like this would have EVER happened.

As a result, the daycare should be shut down, the people jailed, and the parents counseled for ever being so foolish.

Here's a link to the story and comments. You'll have to dig a few pages back in the comments to find the above.

H/t to Graham via email.
