New poll up at Jackson Jambalaya

Kingfish over at Jackson Jambalaya has a poll up on his front page for "Best Criminal Defense Lawyer in Jackson." I'm honored to be included in the poll, especially since most of my clients seem to think that a public defender is somehow not really a lawyer.

Honored? I put you up there because as much self-promotion as you do you deserve some reward for your efforts.

HAHAHAHAHA.

How, pray tell, does one self-promote or promote and all, when the product is given away for free?

He's a public servant. He just gets what ends up on his desk.

Just cause he's vocal, it doesn't mean he's promoting.

Kingfish, I think you've done quite a bit of "promoting" of me in the past, and it sure as hell wasn't at my request.

Speaking of which, where's the promised follow-up, sir?

I think you two knuckleheads recognized that post as a joke. The hahahaha should be a clue.

Good point about followup. Talk to Robbie Bell, Steadivest, and the Irbys. They got in the way. Got two others I've actually done interviews for I've not been able to put together yet.

KF,

I never know when to take you seriously or not. That's neither an insult nor a compliment.

Interesting so far. McDuff kicking some serious butt right now.

McDuff is a fantastic lawyer, both in front of a jury and on appeal. Despite his Harvard Law pedigree, he presents his case in direct down-home style that communicates effectively to people at all levels of class or education.

Having said that, one wonders how many times Oliver has voted in the JJ poll . . .

I voted for McDuff, although I wondered why Jim Craig wasn't on the list.

And, once again, Jackson folk are pretending they are Mississippi.
