Barbour: "Hospitals just don't want to pay their fair share." Actually, Guv, the hospitals were to begin paying the $60 MILLION in taxes you wanted a few weeks ago. All they want is to keep you from cutting their Medicaid reimbursement willy-nilly. Essentially, they don't mind paying their "fair share," so long as you are prevented from cutting the "fair share" they get back in Medicaid reimbursements.
By the way, what's the difference between merely "asking someone to pay their fair share" and "socialism?" Riddle me that, Guv.
