Just in case you were wondering, yes, the racists can work a computer. And they like T.E.A.

While doing the research concerning Haley Barbour's connections with the Mississippi Council of Conservative Citizens for a previous post, I found the CofCC's Mississippi website.  It's, um, interesting in a disgusting way.  Being of the mindset that sunlight is the best disinfectant, I've decided to pass it along.

One thing you should take note of is their involvement with the Mississippi T.E.A. Party.  Which brings to mind another question: Anyone know if former Mississippi Supreme Court Justice Kay Cobb is a member of the successor to the White Citizens' Council?

Guilt by association? Come on, counselor...

OK, follow me here:

It is beyond dispute that the CCC is a racist organization. (If you disagree, please let me know.) It is also beyond dispute that the CCC itself encourages its members to attend T.E.A. Party rallies and touts many of the same political beliefs as the T.E.A. Party. Kay Cobb is not only a member of the T.E.A. Party, but founded its Oxford branch. The question can then be asked, "Is Kay Cobb a member of the CCC?" And it may be fairly and correctly answered in either the negative or the affirmative. I just don't have the answer.

So it's not guilt by association. It's not even probable cause by association. But it certainly is reasonable suspicion.

Why don't you call her and ask her? She's in the phone book.

This is a weak attempt at whatever you are attempting.

RPP - I'll do just that.

Give me a break. You discovered that on my website last year because we discussed it.

Kingfish, you sure do like to lay claim to the "discovery" of lots of public information. A lot of times it seems like the only thing you care about is getting credit for your "discoveries."

Pretty lame, I must say.
