Carpe Jackson, birthed 6 months ago, is a Jackson-area food blog. Its author, unknown to me, apparently moved to Jackson from Durham, NC, where said author wrote for a similar blog, CarpeDurham.com. In just 6 months, the author has covered some pretty substantial gastronomic territory, and has uncovered some restaurants that I haven't even heard of. In addition to the frequent food reviews, Carpe Jackson also thankfully posts restaurant openings.
Carpe Jackson is some excellent work, folks. I'm bookmarking this one and checking it daily. Oh, and you can now find it in our links to the right.

Eich ---- nice find, man, and it has several BBQ restaurants I knew nothing about. I don't love the layout of the site but ... beggars can't be choosers. This will definitely be a resource I use in the future.
