I might add that judges make value judg...Well put. I might add that judges make value judges by employing the particular "tools" in their judicial decision-making toolbelt in deciding a case. For example, a judge makes a value judgment in deciding to follow precedent. The judge is either making the value judgment that he or she agrees with the precident or that the judge values predictability and stability in the legal system over changing the law at this time.
